AARP TAX APPOINTMENTS

At the Mullica Hill location of the Gloucester County Library System, the AARP volunteers are available by appointment on Mondays starting in February until April 11th for basic tax preparation. To make an appointment to have your taxes done, please contact Pat McCall at 856-223-6033. Special note: These services may change at any time and may be limited.

Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC)
Provides information and assistance to older persons, adults with physical disabilities, caregivers and professionals looking for services or programs.
Gloucester County Senior Center
The Gloucester County Division of Senior Services is an active participant in the Aging and Disability Resource Connection, administering a broad range of home and community based services that focus on the needs of senior citizens and persons living with physical disabilities throughout the County. The Division of Senior Services provides information and assistance to aid residents of Gloucester County 60 years of age or older and their families. Our mission is to promote accessible and high-quality health and senior services to help all seniors in Gloucester County attain optimal health and independence. We promote, support and protect well- being. We encourage informed choices that enhance quality of life for seniors.
Gloucester County Senior Nutrition Program
Jersey Assistance for Community Caregiving (JACC)
JACC is a State-funded program that provides a broad array of in-home services to enable an individual, at risk of placement in a nursing facility and who meets income and resource requirements, to remain in his or her community home. By providing a uniquely designed package of supports for the individual, JACC delays or prevents placement in a nursing facility.
Medicaid Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS)
Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) refers to the delivery of long-term services and supports through New Jersey Medicaid's NJ FamilyCare managed care program. MLTSS is designed to expand home and community-based services, promote community inclusion and ensure quality and efficiency.

MLTSS uses NJ FamilyCare managed care organizations (also known as HMOs or health plans) to coordinate ALL services. Currently, NJ FamilyCare members have their acute and primary health care services and their home and community based services coordinated by different care management agencies. MLTSS provides comprehensive services and supports, whether at home, in an assisted living facility, in community residential services, or in a nursing home.
Special Programs for Seniors
Some of the programs that are included are Adult Protective Services; Adult Social Services; Burial Services; Early Periodic Screening and Diagnosis and Treatment Program.
