NJONA

New Jersey Office of New Americans
The Office of New Americans (ONA) in the Department of Human Services supports new Americans through outreach and education, administration of the state’s Refugee Resettlement Program, and work on priorities to build trust, improve access to social services, workforce development and employment services, and legal services for immigrants.

The ONA seeks to increase accessibility to State programs available to new Americans, including those who speak languages other than English.

The ONA also serves as a resource for other state agencies to amplify education and outreach on state initiatives and programs to ensure they reach all new American communities in our state.

Legal Services of New Jersey
LSNJ is a NJ legal nonprofit organization providing legal services to low-income individuals. LSNJ's dedicated immigration team provides assistance with DACA renewal, application for citizenship, and other needs.
Rutgers Law Child and Family Advocacy Clinic
Provides representation to children in child abuse and neglect cases in Family Court in Camden and in administrative hearings and proceedings regarding public benefits, education, immigration, medical and mental health issues. For legal services, call the clinic at (856) 225-6568.
New Jersey Consortium for Immigrant Children
Coalition of legal advocates and professionals supporting immigrant youth and children through legal services, community education, and training.
Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF)
Immigrant rights advocate group based in Mercer County, with a focus on education, healthcare, and legal services for the Latin American community.

Need images, primary sources, sound recordings, and more for a project or website? Check out these resources for free items that are royalty-free and cost nothing to use! Some are in the public domain while others have been donated for free use.

Please note that many require attribution. Double-check the terms of use for each website as they are subject to change.

Getrefe
Provides free stock photographs that were taken on mobile devices.
J. Paul Getty Museum Images
With their Open Content Program, the Getty makes available, without charge, all available digital images to which the Getty holds the rights or that are in the public domain to be used for any purpose. No permission is required.
Metropolitan Museum Digital Images
Open Access for Scholarly Content Initiative provides over 400,000 high-resolution digital images of public domain works in the Museum’s collection may be downloaded directly from the Museum’s website for non-commercial use and without a fee.
National Gallery of Art Images
NGA offers free access to digital images of works of art that the Gallery believes to be in the public domain. Images of these works are now available free of charge for any use, commercial or non-commercial.
New Digital Archive Museum
The Digital Archive provides researchers with free online access to primary source materials from New Museum exhibitions, public programs, and publications.
New Old Stock
Features vintage photos from the public archives. All are free of known copyright restrictions.
Pexels
Pexels provides free stock photographs under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. Images are free to use for any legal purpose and do not require attribution.
Philadelphia Museum of Art Digital Collections
Freely available on the Internet Archive, it includes scrapbooks from the Archives; rare art auction catalogs; books and ephemera on European and American decorative arts and arms and armor; and the Museum’s own publications
StockSnap.io
Provides completely free stock photographs and high resolution images under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. No attribution required.
Unsplash
10 new high resolution photos are uploaded every 10 days to their growing collection. All images are free for any legal use as they are under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license.
Vecteezy
Resource for free vector art that typically does not require attribution.
Wikipedia Commons
A database of 29,460,574 freely usable media files to which anyone can contribute. These are not necessarily art images, but it can be a good source for buildings, outdoor monuments, and architecture.
Yale University Digital Images
Thousands of images of works in the Gallery’s collection believed to be in the public domain are available for free download through the Gallery’s website thanks to their Open Access Policy.
